STARS Awards Honor Best Of North Carolina’s Home Building Industry

The North Carolina Home Builders Association presented nearly 50 prestigious STARS awards at the annual STARS Awards Gala held in September.

The top awards of the evening went to the following recipients:

Blake Massengill of Massengill Design-Build in Fuquay-Varina, was named the Distinguished Builder Member of the Year. Massengill is a member of the Raleigh-Wake HBA.

The Distinguished Associate Member of the Year Award went to Katie Mariani of Builders Mutual.

The Community of the Year honor went to Olivette Riverside Community and Farm, a member of the Asheville Home Builders Association. The 346-acre farm-based “agrihood” located in Asheville features a fully operational commercial organic farm, seven-acre riverfront beach, community gardens and orchards, a large private river island and miles of interior hiking trails.

The Executive Officer of the Year award went to Cameron Moore, EO of the Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association.

The New Executive Officer of the Year award recognized Hollie Rose-Galli of the High Point Area Builders Association.

The Builders Mutual Safety Program of the Year award went to Osada Construction, a member of the Asheville Home Builders Association.
