STARS Awards & Galaxy Awards Honor The Best Of North Carolina’s Home Building Industry

The North Carolina Home Builders Association presented 39 prestigious STARS Awards as well as seven Galaxy Awards during an evening gala on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at the Omni Charlotte Hotel. The STARS Awards honors the achievements of builders, remodelers, interior designers, landscape architects, marketing and advertising professionals, as well as local HBAs. In its second year, the Galaxy Awards recognized the outstanding work of new homes sales professionals.

The winners taking home some of the evening’s most distinguished awards included:

• Brian Pace of Pace Development Group in Charlotte NC, who was named the Distinguished Builder Member of the Year. Pace is a member of the HBA of Greater Charlotte and is the immediate past president of the North Carolina Home Builders Association. • Neill Eckard Sipe, who received the Distinguished Associate Member of the Year Award. He is a member of the Hickory-Catawba Valley Home Builders Association.

• MillBridge, which was honored with the Community of the Year award. The master-planned community located in Waxhaw, NC was developed by Landeavor, LLC.

• Brandon Bryant of Red Tree Builders in Asheville, NC received the BEAM (Builders Engaging Associate Members) Award. He is a member of the Asheville Home Builders Association.

• Moffat Pipe, Inc. of Wake Forest, NC was presented the Builders Mutual Insurance Company Safety Program of the Year award. Moffat Pipe is a member of the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County. The following STARS Awards recipients are grouped according to
