Holly Fraccaro Receives Award, Highlighting ALI for NC Executive Officers
North Carolina Executive Officers visited the NAHB Association Leadership Institute (ALI) in July.

Holly Fraccaro, Executive Officer of the HBA of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties, received the “New Executive Officer of the Year Award” at the NAHB Association Leadership Institute (ALI) held in San Antonio, Texas, last week. Fraccaro received the David Lloyd Award which is presented annually to an executive officer who has served no longer than three years in an association management position but who is judged to have made a major contribution to the profession during that time.

“We here at NCHBA were delighted to learn the news,” said Mike Carpenter, NCHBA’s Executive Vice President. “Holly is most deserving of this honor.” Fraccaro currently serves as president of North Carolina’s Executive Officer Council and is a member of the NCHBA Executive Committee.

North Carolina always has one of the largest delegations at the NAHB Association Leadership Institute and 2016 was no exception. A total of fourteen (14) executive officers from NC attended the institute.

In addition to Fraccaro’s honor, the HBA of Raleigh Wake County won two AEA Awards (Association Excellence Awards) for the following programs conducted in 2015:

• Best HBA Partnership/Coalition for “Triangle Community Coalition—A Powerful Partnership”

• Best Non Parade, Tour or Show Revenue Effort for “The Foundation Club—A Truly Awesome Sponsorship Program”
