The North Carolina Home Builders Educational and Charitable Foundation recently awarded $10,500 in scholarships to family members of NCHBA members.

The following students were nominated and selected by the NCHBECF Trustees based on a combination of need and merit. They are all majoring in a construction-related field and are immediate family members of a member of the North Carolina Home Builders Association.

To be eligible for a scholarship, a student must be nominated by a NCHBA member firm; be an immediate family member, related by blood, of an NCHBA member; and be a full-time student taking a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester. Awards are for one year, but scholarship winners may submit a renewal application and be considered for renewal if they make satisfactory progress in their studies.

Applications are normally due in April. Check the NCHBA website or Monday Briefing newsletter for details about 2017-2018 scholarships. Congratulations to these worthy students!
